In Paraguay, 8.324 Dengue cases were registered in 2019, 9 of them ending as death cases. Currently, there are community volunteer jobs seeking reduction of infestation levels, trying to raise public awareness about the importance of eliminating hatcheries. These jobs did not succeed in maintaining the motivation of the volunteers to remain active in the project.
