AB The action research project was planned in three main phases: Diagnosis, Planning-Execution and Evaluation (Monje Álvarez, 2011). During all stages methodological strategies were used, thus in the diagnosis stage it was aimed to monitor the initial situation regarding knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAP) and focus the community intervention campaign connected to the reality of the study population; in the implementation stage (Planning-execution) to validate the materials developed and finally in the evaluation stage to determine the results of the campaign on the desired social behaviors.
